Today we made a big batch of hot cross buns using our favourite teacake recipe. We slashed the tops in the shape of a cross, rather than using dough crosses because I always end up picking them off anyway.
They were quite delicious toasted with a cup of tea after an afternoon spent tidying up the garden.We have been working hard all week so we are looking forward to our weekend off which will be spent baking, gardening and relaxing (and no doubt planning the next print...).

It was really sunny for most of the day, so we took advantage of the nice light to take some photos of our leather bound journals to list in our Folksy shop. This is our favourite photo, white paper with a few pastel coloured pages.
